Please join us on June 7, 2024 to hear Louisa Pringle Cameron, well known author, speaker and master gardener from Charleston with family roots in Beaufort as she gives a lecture on The Historic Gardens of Charleston. Louisa is a graduate of Hollins College and the Charleston based Clemson University Master Gardener program.

Author of 3 books to date, Louisa wrote her first book, THE PRIVATE GARDENS OF CHARLESTON, published in 1992, followed by THE SECRET GARDENS OF CHARLESTON and then CHARLESTON: CITY OF GARDENS which includes private gardens on the peninsula, parks, and cemeteries, as well as a few gardens outside the Historic District.

A 4th book on the History of Gardening in Charleston has been submitted to her editor at the Evening Post Publishing Company and her talk in Beaufort will be on this subject.
